The SIMRIG SR1 is our first motion system. Since 2018, it has sold to all corners of the world. Crafted with precision in Sweden, the SIMRIG SR1 motion system elevates your racing simulation with unparalleled realism.
The SIMRIG SR1 is developed for maximum immersion and ease of use. With its small footprint, it mounts to your existing aluminium extrusion rig. Sim racing motion actuators form the core of the SIMRIG SR1, enabling it to simulate the intricacies of racing dynamics such as acceleration, braking and the nuances of track terrain. The electronics control unit is small enough to mount under your seat. It connects directly to your computer through USB. The power supply operates on 100-240 V mains.
The system features three degrees of freedom (3-DOF): pitch, roll and heave. With pitch and roll, the system can simulate acceleration, braking and turning. It can also follow the track geometry; for example, by pitching forwards while driving downhill. With heave, the system can push the rig upwards when hitting curbs and bumps in the road.
The SIMRIG SR1 is accompanied by SIMRIG Control Center. This software control the motion system by interpreting the position and acceleration of the simulated vehicle. It supports all major simulation titles.
Installation is plug-and-play. Attach the actuators, ECU, power supply and emergency stop. Connect a few cables. Install the software. Then you are ready!
The SIMRIG SR1 motion system is not just about immersive gameplay — it's also about bringing the thrill of the race to your home. With its sim racing motion actuators, every bump, curve and acceleration is felt, turning your gaming area into a cockpit.

SIMRIG SR1 motion system is compatible with aluminium rigs built using 60x20, 40x40 and 80x40 mm aluminium extrusions. Other sizes are available on request.
Four 20x20 mm aluminium profiles and four plastic brackets are required to attach SIMRIG SR1 to an aluminium rig. These are included when you order a system.
The four 20x20 mm aluminium profiles are mounted in pairs. Two at the front of the rig and two at the back. Each pair holds two SIMRIG SR1 actuators.
The plastic brackets are specifically designed to attach to either 60x20, 40x40 or 80x40 mm aluminium profiles. These profiles differ in height and, therefore, require a matching bracket. Please specify which rig you intend to use while ordering.
The maximum rig width is 620 mm. See the documentation for more details.
For best performance, longevity and user experience, the maximum load is set to 175 kg. The maximum load includes the rig, the driver, other peripherals and additional weight actuated by the SIMRIG SR1 motion system.
When the SIMRIG SR1 is attached to a lightweight rig, such as the SRD-MOTUS ULTIMATE (it only weighs 21 kg), there are about 154 kg left for the driver, seat and peripherals.

The SIMRIG SR1 operates by utilising sim racing motion actuators to create a three-dimensional movement experience. These motions replicate the feeling of acceleration, braking and navigating through different track terrains, enhancing the realism of the racing simulation. The system is driven by the SIMRIG Control Center software, which interprets the simulated vehicle's position and movements, translating them into physical motion for the user.
The SR1 system simulates three types of motion: pitch, roll and heave. These motions allow the system to accurately replicate the sensations of acceleration, braking and turning. It also simulates the effects of driving over curbs and bumps and the track's geometry, such as pitching forward while descending a hill. This immersive experience is designed to enhance the realism of sim racing, making the user feel as if they are truly behind the wheel.
The SIMRIG SR1 is designed for easy installation. Its plug-and-play approach simplifies the setup process, requiring users to attach the actuators, electronic control unit (ECU), power supply and emergency stop button, then connect a few cables. Detailed instructions ensure a smooth installation, allowing users to quickly integrate the system with their existing racing setup and start enjoying an immersive sim racing experience.
The SIMRIG SR1 motion system is designed with durability and ease of use in mind, minimising the need for regular maintenance. Its high-quality construction ensures long-lasting performance under normal use conditions. However, like any sophisticated electronic and mechanical system, periodic checks and updates to the SIMRIG Control Center software may enhance its operation and longevity. Keeping the actuators and connections clean and checking for software updates is recommended to maintain optimal performance.
