What’s The Difference Between Sequential And H-Pattern Shifting?

H-Pattern
H-Pattern shifting is the traditional way that cars shift gears manually. If you’ve ever driven a manual car, then you may have seen the following configuration:

To change gears, you need to engage the clutch to shift. If you’re a sim racer that prefers driving more classic cars, then this may feel more authentic.
Sequential
Sequential shifting, meanwhile, uses either a gear lever or paddle shifters to upshift and downshift gears. You don’t need to engage the clutch — and the gear change occurs almost instantly.

How Does A 2-Stage Resistance System Increase Realism?

Stage 1 - Light Resistance

Stage 2 - Heavier Resistance
