SimRigs is the Australian home of Sim-Lab, one of the most rigid and adjustable cockpit ranges in sim racing, engineered and made in the Netherlands. We stock the range, from the P1X Pro cockpit through to load cell pedals, shifters, handbrakes and monitor mounts. Whether you are building your first cockpit or upgrading a competition setup, Sim-Lab gives you a stable, precise foundation to build on.
Sim-Lab started in 2015 when founder Richard Schouteren could not find a cockpit that was both rigid and reasonably priced, so he built his own. That focus on stability and full adjustability still runs through the range today. The P1X Pro cockpit built the brand's reputation for rigidity, and the lineup has since grown to cover pedals, sequential shifters, handbrakes and monitor mounts.
Pair Sim-Lab with the rest of your setup. Browse our cockpits and frames and add the parts that suit how you race.
See the Sim-Lab range at our Melbourne showroom, or try a complete build at the SimRigs Sim Centre. Not sure where to start? Get in touch and we will help you build a cockpit around how you race.
One thing the Sim-Lab frame gets right is adjustability. The wheel mount (front- or side-) and pedal tray can shift to suit taller or shorter drivers, and accessory side-mounts allow handbrake or shifter placement where you want them. This makes it ideal whether you’re upright like a formula driver or low-slung like a GT athlete.
The Sim-Lab P1X Pro keeps things surprisingly compact for a full-blown professional rig. Measuring roughly 1350 mm long, 580 mm wide (680 mm at its widest point), and 770 mm tall, it’s built for serious hardware without taking over your space. It fits comfortably in most rooms, just leave a little extra clearance if you’re adding motion modules or wider seat mounts.
If your priorities are rigidity, long-term upgrade potential and premium engineering, the Sim-Lab P1X comes out ahead. It’s built from thicker aluminium profiles, giving it exceptional stiffness and zero flex. The build quality is industrial-grade, with a front-mount design that feels absolutely solid once assembled:
