    FAQ

    FITMent

If your wheelbase has a 70 mm PCD mount, yes. The Xero-Play V2 integrates natively with the Sim-Lab DDS TorqueSync, and works on other bases through the standalone USB-C connection. Data passthrough is optional, so it remains fully usable even on bases that do not support it. It is not compatible with proprietary non-USB protocols, which rules out the Fanatec hub and the Simucube wireless link.

Almost certainly. The Ø70 mm M5 bolt pattern is the industry standard and fits virtually every sim racing wheel. Sim-Lab and GRID Engineering wheels connect natively through the internal 8-pin connector. Any third-party wheel with a USB connection uses the supplied USB-C stubby cable.

Internal connector cables are available for those wheels on request. Get in touch with your wheel model and we will sort the right cable with your order.

No. Passthrough is optional. If your base does not support it, or you do not need it, the Xero-Play V2 still works as a quick release.

    Buying and ownership

The complete set includes the base side and one wheel side, which is what you need to get started. Wheel side only is for adding another wheel to a Xero-Play V2 you already own. The base side stays on the wheelbase, so you only ever buy it once.

The V2 adds USB data passthrough through the coupling, moves to a push-to-lock lever release, and shifts the precision engineering to the base side so wheel-side adapters stay affordable. The original used a pull-ring release with no passthrough.

Four years. Sim-Lab handles replacement parts in-house and we look after warranty and support locally from Melbourne.

Stock is expected to arrive ready for dispatch in October 2026. We will confirm your delivery date as soon as Sim-Lab locks in a firm arrival date, and we will keep you updated through to dispatch.
